Whitlow

Deep seated abscess near the end of the finger,often under the nail with pain and swelling is called whitlow.The beginning may be in the shape of hard tumour like growth which very soon becomes hot and painful

Cold applications ameliorates;worse by warmth,feels as if burning vapours are emitted from the effected lesion Acid-flour 30 or 200 3 hourly(3)
