Pyorrhoea - (Gums bleed and give out pus) - Give solution in water of S 12x, three times daily for a week or two; thereafter mixture of CS 6x and NM 3x, four times daily for a week or so; thereafter S 200x twice a week. Take bark of Moulsri tree (2 tolas) (4/5 oz). Boil it with 1/2 seer (1 lb) water; strain it with cloth and rins the mouth with warm solution twice or thrice daily and use the tooth paste given below. Take 1 tola (2/5 oz.) white alum; fry it on an iron plate; add 1 tola (2/5 oz.) salt (Sendha Namak). Take a little mustard (Sarson) oil; mix above and rub on teeth and gums lightly, in morning and after meals. It cures Pyorrhoea and hardens teeth and gums. |
