| Lock Jaw - (Tetanus) - a serious disease caused by a wound getting dirty. It generally begins with stiffness of neck or about the jaws which are opened or closed with difficulty. There is often difficulty in swallowing, the liquids are often thrown out from mouth or through the nose. After some times, ranging between a few hours to few days the jaws become firmly closed constituting "lock jaw;. There are violent spasma and the body may be bent like a bow (semi circle). The face is often distorted. Begin treatment with MP 3x - Take 1 grain or so of it and put it in 4 or 5 teaspoonfuls of very hot water and give every 5 or 10 minutes. The powder may also be rubbed on the gums. If no improvement give MP 6x similiarly; then MP 12x. If no improvement within a few hours give about one grain of CP 3x or 12x, FP 12x, KM 3x, KP 3x, KS 6x, MP 3x, NM 3x, NP 3x, NS 3x and S 12x, dissolved in 1 oz of hot water to be prepared fresh each time is a dose to be given every 5 or 10 minutes till relief, then interval may be increased. The medicine may be mixed in oil and rubbed over the body. 1 doze of Cicuta Virosa 1000 should be given, preferably in the beginning of the treatment. |
