Fistula(Ano)

Fistula means pipe and Fistula-in-ano means a pipe like canal opening usually at or near the anus.Fistula can be blind,internal or open.The out-come is usually the result of a simple or tubercular abscess in the tissue surrounding the rectum.This abscess opens into the bowel and on the surface of skin.

In blind fistula;yellowish,greenish painless discharge Sulphur 200 or 1M weekly(3)
With tearing pain around the anus;to improve the drainage of the passage Berberis vulg.Q 4 hourly,5 - 10 drops
Burning and soreness in the rectum;chronic large piles;better in humid climate Causticum 30 or 200 4 hourly(3)

For External Use:
Lotion of Hydrastis or Calendula.
