Arthritis - (Inflammation of joint) If attack is new - Give NP 3x alone - 3 times daily for 1 week. If there is improvement, it may be continued, If that does not good give mixture of MP 6x, NM 6x, NP 6x, MS 6x and S 30x. If it ceases to work give thrice daily 12 x of first 4 and 200x of Sil. once a day. CF 3x, CP 3x, FP 12x, KM 3x, KP 3x, KS 3x, MP 3x, NM 3x, NP 3x and S 12x failing which CS 3x. If trouble is old (Chronic) mixture of MP 6x, NM 6x, NP 6x, NS 6x and S 30x. If the first formula given does not relieve within a week. Bry 30 may be taken twice daily for a week, failing which Rhus Tox 30 be given similarly, otherwise give one pill of Colchicum 30 twice daily for 1 week; if it too fails, give one pill of Urtica Urens 30 twice daily for a week, if that too fails, give Ledum 30 similarly. If any of the above medicines does good that medicine should be continued. FOR LOCAL APPLICATION - Take one tola (i.e.-2/5 oz) cloves (Hindi loung) 1 tola (i.e. 2/5 oz asfaetida (Hindi Heeng) 4 tola (i.e. 1-3/5 oz.) Sarson (Mustard) oil. Boil in brass cup and cool, apply at night and cover with cotton and tie. This should be applied from the very first day. |
